So when it came time to put a resume online, another downloadable PDF sounded so booorrrring.

Being one who loves to mix music and video with content, I learned Apple’s I-movie program and created this slide show. Then I added the song I wrote for my Product Factory course and voila!

Do You Have ODD – Online Deficit Disorder? I know you’ve heard of ADD, attention deficit disorder where you easily get pulled into following tangents right? Well with ODD you easily become a Click-O- Manic! (Don’t click your mouse yet!!) You know what I mean.

So when and how did this ClickAddiction (OCC) start? I think this clicking frenzy began with the invention of the TV remote control.   And it exploded by the constant replaying of obnoxious TV commercials….

Here are some of the ones that make me cringe–

-> Head On – Apply Directly To The Forehead!– CLICK (When I see this I want to apply my foot to the TV screen)

-> Every Erectile Dysfunction commercial- CLICK (Don’t you love when those come on when you are sitting with your date or spouse? “Honey gee I forgot to take the garbage out, be back soon”)

-> Restless Legs Syndrome – DOUBLE CLICK (Who invented this? and is that what I want to hear right before I go to bed?)

Well the same is true for the Internet…

-> Who Else Wants To Become A Millionaire Overnight? (Millionaire is highlighted in bright yellow and and pic of a sleezy guy with handful of money) CLICK

-> Cheezy colors and flashing graphics (”YOU may have won already!!” … then you are redirected to a porn site) CLICK

-> Countdown timers. You only have 97 seconds left in this TIME LIMITED, one time one only offer, 95 seconds, 94 , 93. 92…. (and this offer will never ever be repeated in the history of the world.. you see it one month later) CLICK
